Kenmare is a small town in County Kerry, Ireland, whose name means 'Head of the Sea' because of its location at the head of Kenmare Bay. It is situated within a few miles of Dunkerron Woods, Bonane, Glengariff, Kilgarvan, and Fossa and is one of over 60 towns and villages in County Kerry in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available.
Kenmare is situarted on both Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara, two major tourist routes in Ireland, and as such it has become a very popular town with tourists. It is noted for its range of pubs and restaurants and the quality of its food.
